Certified facilitators and trainers have shown competence in delivering TIR, Life Stress Reduction, and/or other Applied Metapsychology services and have met the requirements for Certification by AMI. Those certified by AMI – whether as practitioners or trainers – operate independently from AMI in private practice or as employees of other organizations. It is the responsibility of the independent practitioner to explain exactly what services s/he can deliver and it is the responsibility of the person seeking service to decide with whom s/he enters into a business agreement. If an individual receives service from an independent practitioner but feels the service s/he received is unsatisfactory, the individual is advised to send a written report to AMI, which will be given appropriate attention by the AMI Ethics Committee and/or Certification Committee as appropriate. The sole responsibility of AMI will be to review the complaint and make recommendations for re-training if it is found that the independent practitioner is not operating within the standards set by AMI. Other than the above, AMI does not assume any responsibility for the actions of certified or uncertified practitioners.
