Q: How long have you been a TIR trainer?
A: I became a TIR trainer in 2011.

Q: What inspired you to become a TIR trainer?
A: What inspired me to become a TIR Trainer is the benefit of using this technique to reduce the trauma effect since it is very useful and not complicated. It’s not limited by time and it works with different ages and different cultures

Q: What do you find rewarding about it?
A: During my use of the TIR, I got many positive results in the treatment of trauma and very warm feedback. I do teach workshops on trauma to social workers and counselors and psychologists besides my private direct dealing with traumatized people and I get very good results in using TIR.

Q: Are you willing to travel to deliver training, if so under what conditions?
A: I am willing to travel if costs are covered and aspects pertaining to the venue etc is taken care of.

Q: Do you have a private practice?
A: I am running my own clinic in NAZARETH and KANA OF GALILEE besides my doing training in the WEST BANK and JERUSALEM in of psycho-social support programs and I am proud of practicing TIR in so many programs

Q: Besides TIR, what other things are you interested in?
A: I have been volunteering with human aid with SYRIAN REFUGEE in TURKEY and GREECE and with Palestinians in GAZA and I have the possibility to practice TIR there with very good results.

A: Jamal Dakduki PhD, Mental Health Specialist Dr. Jamal Dakduki is a member of Physicians for Human Rights Intervention Team in Gaza, Palestine. He has worked with UNICEF for 10 years as a trainer on psychological stress and trauma in the Occupied West Bank. Dr. Dakduki is the head of the board of directors of the Galilee Society of Applied Research, and the director of several mental health centers in the north of Israel.
