A: Since 2013
Q: What inspired you to become a TIR trainer?
A: I was preparing for a second career after retirement from the military. Yvonne Retief’s book “Healing of Trauma in a South African Context” was prescribed in a UNISA Trauma Course. Yvonne gave a description of TIR. I attended a workshop and was immediately hooked. I was also motivated by Rev. Louis Hough.

Q: What do you find rewarding about it?
A:TIR empowered me to help people resolving their trauma. I would like to equip as many counsellors possible with TIR workshops.
